Perth Attractions

Perth's boring

Perth's dull

Perth's the best sleeping tablet on the market.

I've heard them all and it's utter nonsense!, beneath Perth's laid back attitude is a city filled with amazing places, hot events and beautiful attractions that are waiting to be explored. Perth is picturesque, sunny, smog-free, packed full of great outdoor attractions and populated by chill out locals who love a drink, laugh and an "all good" attitude.

Here's some local Perth attractions that we urge you to check out;

Kings Park

There are very few cities around the world that are lucky enough to boast such a fantastic public open space. The wild flowers are stunning when they are out and all year round the the gardens are maintained in excellent condition. The varying and beautiful views provided by wandering around are stunning. You can spend a whole day here and not see everything and nothing beats an afternoon BBQ at Kings Park with friends.

Perth Zoo in South Perth is a marvelous place to spend an afternoon or day to see some amazing animals. You can see a huge variety of Aussie animals including Koala's, Kangaroos, NRL Rugby Players, Wombats and Emu's. The park is small but the animals are well looked after and appear to be enjoying life. The best part about the Zoo is that it's open every day of the year so it's a great way to spend a lazy hung-over Sunday or a public holiday. The Perth zoo has constant events like guided tours and getting up close to the animals so be sure to check out the Perth Zoo website to see what's going on.

Rottnest Island

19km's off the coast of Perth, lies the beautiful holiday island of Rottnest where you'll find pristine beaches, loads of fun activities and amazing marine life. You can hire a bike and ride around the island which is highly recommended if it's sunny as it's a great way to see what Rottnest has to offer. The beaches are awesome and you can go snorkeling and get a peak at the local marine life. If you're feeling lazy then kick back with a beer at the local pub and bond with the cute local quokkas (pictured above) which are native to Rottnest. If you're feeling active then you can try your hand at surfing, kayaking, sailing or check out the shipwreck graveyard. Goonies never say die.
